The first image shows the base of rapid retreat as is, while the second shows the shuttle with the engines from the new to the area replacing the wingtip lasers. This high-speed configuration allows an even higher speed, in small bursts.
The bottom row shows a tek fitting the new engine modules, and finally there's the interior of traveller's checks.
