rapid retreat
based on an official prototype (see here), rapid retreat is a light shuttle, with a crew of one and modular engines.
these photos show the default configuration of the shuttle, on the customised base which it rests on when refuelling. although the nose does contain some exploratory sensors, the ship also serves a light combat purpose, and its large (for its size) engine enables high speeds (hence the name).
